Challenging Federal Marriage Discrimination

GLAD is challenging the constitutionality of the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) Section 3 in two cases: Pedersen v. O.P.M., on behalf of married couples and widowers in Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire, and Gill v. O.P.M., on behalf of married couples and widowers in Massachusetts.
